Okay, so if you know me, you know that write about this time is when I go crazy for NaNoWriMo. Get it? Write? Okay, sorry, for those of you who don't know, allow me to explain. NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month. I've been participating for years, and I'm very excited this year because I might get to do it with some friends. Nevertheless, here's the summary: You have on month--Novemeber. That's thirty days. You need to write fifty thousand--50000--words. In thirty days. If you do this, you are a winner. The goal is pretty much, write whatever you can, get it out, enjoy it. Even if your novel sucks or is incomplete, the point is that you did it, that you had fun, and that you went completely insane for one month. I LOVE NANOWRIMO! It's always a blast to get on the Young Writer's Program and meet friends, share stories, and strive to hit your word count. I absolutely encourage anyone--and everyone--who can to do this.
If you're interesting, just sign up at the NaNoWriMo website. We'll see if I'm up to the task this year with all my classes, and if I can bribe my friends into doing this with me...
